Soft Short Sleeve Nightgown for Ladies

The nightgowns are great I purchased 4 and so far they help keep me cool and are easy to care for.

For spring and summer especially you will want to live in this dress. From day 1 it has been just soft buttery and roomy. It’s snug but stretches and it’s not at all constricting. I could gain 20lbs still fit it and it not squeeze me to death- and I can wear it as I am now and it fit with no slouching. The color I got what the baby pink and light grey gives me y2k vibes I love it so much and it’s sustainable! Bamboo fabric. This checks all my boxes

At first the fabric seemed a bit rougher than other bamboo fabrics that I have, but it does soften with washing and use. The weight of the fabric is heavier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Comfortable enough to wear in winter because bamboo fabric is the best thing since sliced bread. A miraculous material that keeps you cool in summer and warm in the winter. It's a bit longer than I expected, but I allowed myself to believe the photos in the listing and not the measurements. I'm just shy of 5'7" (I've shrunk a bit in my old age) and 130 pounds. A large fits across the shoulders comfortably, it's looser throughout the body and the length is all the way down to my knees. I measured the length after washing (hand wash hang to dry) and it's 36". Unfortunately a section of the side seam opened up after initial washing. The fabric was cut too short for the seam, which can happen pretty easy when stitching slippery fabrics.The nightshirt came in a little box nicely packaged, perfect for giving as a gift.

NOT MENOPAUSE NIGHT-SWEAT FREINDLY!Did I say that too loudly, sorry...let's start with the positives (because there are a lot!) These nightgowns are super comfy and soft! Although they are thin, it is the "nice" type of thin and not thread bare, one wash and you can see through it thin. This is the type of thin that we all enjoy, well made and cooling. I would get a size bigger as true to size for me was a little "too revealing" in terms of walking around with others in the vicinity, and nothing underneath (not that I do that a lot, but you never know). A truly amazing purchase and find if I wasn't a woman of a certain age.Now for those of you who are looking for something cooling when you have the night sweats, and hot flashes to send you to sit in the chest freezer for an hour or more. These are not for you...yet. At some point you will want these again as they are truly soft and lovely...but it is important to note that if you find yourself sweating at night like you have just crossed the Sahara, these hold onto water like a camel in the driest part of the desert. One night I actually tried to wring out the sweat and was surprised that I did not get a drop...so if you do find that your skin is drying out and sleeping moist works for you, than by all means get these and sweat away. I will be keeping these and wearing them, just not sleeping in them...yet.

This is a bit snug... I bought an xl and it clings to my stomach. I don't like it....but I love bamboo cool brand. I've basically bought everything from them. Aside from the snugness, I was very comfortable sleeping in this nightgown, as anticipated. It is cool on your skin. The quality, as expected with this brand, is great. Easy to wash. I wish this weren't clingy. The xl fits comfortably, but I like my pajamas to be a bit looser. I love their oversized T-shirts and have bought at least 7 of them (yes, several of the same colors). I would love it if this brand offered better sizing options and more color variety. That said, everything else I've bought fits perfectly. I have their tanks, pajamas, shorts, and underwear....I've bought a lot of their underwear. I'm basically a walking, unpaid spokesperson.
