What Is Dope Dyeing?
Dope dyeing, also known as solution dyeing, is a process where color masterbatch is added directly into the bamboo pulp solution before fibers are formed. This means color becomes part of the fiber itself—not a surface coating applied later through water- and chemical-intensive dyeing.
The result? Long-lasting, vibrant color that's more sustainable than traditional dyeing methods—and far gentler on your skin and the environment.
Why It Matters: The Environmental Impact
Traditional textile dyeing is one of the most polluting stages of clothing production, using massive amounts of water, chemicals, and energy. Dope dyeing changes that from the ground up.
